Gente de Perto

The project works with street children and adolescents who are extremely vulnerable, with the aim of articulating and implementing care strategies, providing conditions for listening and contributing to expression and dialog. Most of these people come from deprived communities in the city of São Paulo, places that lack basic infrastructure and have a high crime rate. Our aim is to be part of a movement creating and coordinating work in the area of intervention in the context of risk and social vulnerability.

Activities

The activities consist of combating the processes of vulnerability, developing autonomy and prospects for the future and dreams. We provide dignified care through food, bathing, psychological care, leisure, training with vocational courses, preparation for the job market and social autonomy, generating a new perspective that will help in the process of re-socialization and re-signification.
