Casa Girassol

Casa Girassol, an ABBA foster care service, is located in the wonderful city of Campo Maior, in Piauí. We are committed to providing a safe and protective space for boys and girls who have unfortunately been through extremely difficult family situations involving violence, abuse, neglect or mistreatment.

We believe that every child deserves to be loved and cared for with affection and the closeness of the Creator. At Casa Girassol, we seek to provide a warm and affectionate environment for these children to follow the light of Christ, like sunflowers. Casa Girassol is more than just a temporary shelter; it is a temporary home where each child is valued as a unique individual.

Activities

The shelter caters for children and adolescents aged between 0 and 17 years and 11 months and is open 24 hours a day, with the aim of preparing the children to be reintegrated into their families of origin or sent for adoption. They live in an environment as close as possible to family life where they play, study and are cared for by a qualified team with respect, love and acceptance.Support this new service and help children follow the light of Christ.
